David Sauberman is a classical and popular pianist with a broad background of musical knowledge and ability.

David made his concert debut at Carnegie Recital Hall in New York City in 1998.

As a child he played the recorder and violin, as well as the harpsichord. He went on to study with internationally acclaimed pianist, Malcolm Bilson at Cornell University. His teaching credits include the College of New Rochelle.

Besides his classical repertoire, he has developed a unique style of improvising on ragtime, blues, rock 'n roll, jazz, folk and original music.

In a career spanning 25 years, he has also played for numerous special events, including corporate presentations and events, and charity fundraisers, as well as at clubs and private parties. In recent years, he has had people host intimate “house concerts” where he not only performs, but also interacts with the audience, encouraging widespread interaction and participation.

What people say about the CD:

Just got the new CD. I do not recall paying for it- I hope I did- anyway, I cannot stop playing it- IT IS SUPERB!!! The quality of the recording is immaculate-crystal clear, yet you play with such delicacy. I also love the more vibrant pieces. there are pieces I have not heard before-so that was a thrill. There isn't a piece that I do not enjoy.
I am not a music buff-just a music lover, like my Dad.
I am passing this on to my Dad in the U.K.,
I wish I had more, as I leave on Sunday for a week.
I would like to order 3 more CD's please.
I will despatch a check in meantime for these.
I hope you make another.
Thanks David. - Eunice

I've just finished listening to it - Congratulations on a GREAT JOB!!! It's really terrific and I know I will enjoy listening to it a lot. - Nancy

The CD is great, I enjoyed it. I love the design of the printed material - your website is fabulous. I will keep you absolutely in mind, if I hear of somebody who would hire your service.
Love to you and Judy - Margarethe

- FROM MY PIANO TEACHER, Marc Taslit:

(2 years ago), It was really great to work with you again! Your playing has changed and
grown SOOOO much!

It's really a function of the consciousness and awareness you're now
bringing to your practicing, and your emerging new "keyboard feel." Your
sensitivity and creativity in-the-moment are starting to surface, and they
are riding on a much firmer, cleaner technique. BRAVO111

About my concerts:

David brings a passion and utter joy to his music that inspires me every
time I see and hear him play. He is the embodiment of being in love with
what you do and being fully self-expressed.

David's passion and energy at the keyboard are infectious. I have attended many of his concerts and each time I am moved. Whether he is playing Joplin (my favorite), Debussy or Mozart, David never fails to give himself fully to the music and to his audience. He is a rare treat!

How about these? I know they are kind of silly, but they are true for me
and my experience of you. Hope it helps.

"Like the Cheshire Cat on keyboards - David always has a whimsical look in
his eye and a musical trick up his sleeve."

"Playful and engaging - you'll realize he is having as much fun as the
audience."

"David's style is a fun as it is perfection."

Yours,
Denise Brink

Hi David--I truly enjoyed your salon on Saturday. Wonderful music and fellowship, not to mention yummy foods. I especially loved the Chopin Ballade--what an amazing piece! As soon as I get a piano that plays well, I think I may try to tackle that one--you are such an inspiration. Thanks for letting me know about the Cafe Mozart. I've written down the 28th, but I'm not totally sure I can make it. Hope so. I find your love of playing the piano refreshing and delightful, so please keep me informed. Goodnight for now and thanks again - Shem

It was great listening to you on Sat! Thanks for the
list! - Janice

Congratulations, David!
This is great news. Glad you are sharing your talents and engaging
students. I think you really make a difference in people's understanding
and enjoying music, not to mention their ability to play it, and I like to
see that in the world! Not to mention your larger commitments to humanity
with music as a gathering point. Thanks.

Jane
