Hello Music Lover's
I am presenting this Album after a lot of thought to the response I receive during my concerts. I have taken the most requested classic songs and recorded them for everyone's enjoyment. I'm producing more Albums with vocal. I was born in 1942 and was raised in a well structured, Religious home and therefore, My fist Album is dedicated to my 'folks". I started Steel Guitar lessons at age 14, but learned to play piano. At age 17, I began playing for a church, then about age 19, I was hired by gospel quartets such as, Desertaires, Californians, ECT. All Through my High School years (1958-1962), I would go to the local television station, KERO Channel 10 in Bakersfield, CA. I would sneak into the studio and hide to watch the Cousin Hurb Country Show while on the air. One day one of the technicians got worried about his job and told me I had better quit sneaking in. By this time I had gotten to know the show members. Fuzzy Owens, the steel guitar player heard the conversion and intervened on my behalf. He then began giving pointers on the steel guitar. Fuzzy Owens introduced me to Cousin Hurb whom let me appear on his show occasionally. That is where my country music career started. There are a lot of very giving Musicians in Bakersfield. I also owe a lot of my professional experiences to a lot of musicians in Las Vegas who have been very helpful and informative over the years. Enjoy the Album Glenn Green Track List: 1.
