Leon Harp has been playing piano since the age of four. He has studied at Juilliard School of Music, Murray State University, Judson College, and Seminole Community College near Orlando, Florida. He has studied piano with Sylvia McElroy-MM Juilliard, Dr. Norman Reid-DM Columbia University, and composition with Dr. Mowery at Murray State University.
He has written and premiered his own "pop" Concerto in E Minor for Piano and Orchestra "The Truckers Concerto" with the Deland Little Symphony Orchestra located at Stetson University in Deland, Florida.
