After having played piano in churches for 37 years, Steve Pennington finally puts together and album of offertories and special performances. After growing up listening to Liberace, Roger Williams and Peter Nero Steve wanted to use those styles in playing music of the church. He wanted the music of church to be presented in style that all ages would appreciate.

But especially those people who grew up loving the hymns of the church and didn't want to lose those songs to the Praise and Worship format of today's comtemporary church. Steve has been an accompanist since the age of nine and feature three vocalist on the album including a cut recorded in 1964 of Howell Simmons and hinself playing piano. The old reel to reel was digitized and the new piano part was added. He hopes you will enjoy the classic hymns and a few praise songs played in grand style.
