VANCE MARINO is a singer, guitarist, bassist, and drummer who has played music professionally since he was 17. This native Hawaiian started playing guitar when he was 10 and became proficient on many different instruments while attending Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu.
Since 1989, Vance has been the lead singer and guitarist for his blues-rock band Four On The Floor in San Diego, California. He is a full-time musician and teaches guitar and songwriting to students of all ages.
Since 1998, Vance has been the classical guitarist for the high tea at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Resort. He has arranged music for and directed various types of choirs and choral groups. He got the idea to use his vocal arrangements to create an original recording of a guitar playing the different four SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) vocal parts. It's a unique Christmas CD of a "Choir of Guitars."
The artwork on the CD was done by reknowned watercolorist Richard L. Weddleton, whose paintings are sold and displayed in historic transportation galleries and railroad art exhibits around the United States.
