Sud is one of the alias names Flavio D. Mireles uses when he feels like composing Neo Futuristic Disco/Electro traxxs. This particular project uses these three Synthesizers very heavy in production: Alesis Ion, Nord G2 Modular, Access Virus Indigo.
Flavio Mireles makes good use of his chord progression skills to keep the feel alive and never boring. A good listen reveals that each tone is carefully crafted and custom made for each of the three songs. The percussion is simplistic but compliments each measure nicely.
The first track 'Battle at the Bridge' reminds me of a Saturday Night Fever scene where Travolta is drunk and balancing on the high bridge. The second track 'Malo's De la Noche' sounds like a GTA flashback ala Crockit & Tubs. The final track, 'Los Medicos' which means the Medics reminds me of a freaked out disco tent at MASH headquarters Vietnam- which is a good thing.
