This is the fourth and latest CD by Circio. Its very guitar oriented and the least electronic sounding of all the Circio Rapture projects. Actually, I rather like this sound which is a mixture of electric guitars and electronica with bits of country, rock, and jazz. People have been very receptive of this style and it will continue on the next Circio's Rapture CD called "Sequential Fantasies". This CD has a good balance of songs and electronica. "The Tower Of Tones" has some awesome drum and percussion sounds, "Polarity Test" is thumping, "Diode Jam" with the wah-wahs, and "Sparks Of Continuity" with some riviting keyboard textures. Since the theme of the CD is "Space Guitar", all the tracks emphasize the guitars which are often drenched in reverb, echo, and/or effects. The opening song "Shock & Roll" ends with a heavy attack of guitars playing metal style chords. There's a trip with the wah-wah pedal in "A Void To Remember" but the ending has noise synth effects and multiple horn layers at the crescendo. "Cold Solder Joint" is a pure instrumental ballad and really doesn't qualify as an electronic track, but it's a wonderful melodic theme which keeps the CD from being too repetitive with electronica. Also, the track "Sustainic Stomp" is a tiny bit electronic, but again, what may start off as normal doesn't always stay that way. In this tune, sequencers take over the county rhythm foundation. There's a cool improvised jazz-like guitar excursion on "Mr. Vibrato" which changes background structures too many times to count. Enjoy.

This CD is recorded and mixed digitally on professional equipment. The sonic quality is mastered in true audio fashion with little commercial compression insuring real dynamic range. The music is copied onto CDRs and the jewel cases have no shrink wrap.
