Hello there, my name is Michael B. Smith, I am writing from the beautiful southern Oregon coast. Before coming here I was in San Francisco working as a professional Musician, I had a band named 'Los Limeys", We were all expat pop stars from the 70's, We played all the clubs, and often got invited to recording sessions. Which was always nice.
The music was a a mixture of my songs and blues, powered by good ol' fashioned English Rock'n'roll. Before doing my own band thing, I spent a number of years on the road with various other acts, stadiums to toilets, From Frankie Valli to Big Country.I have been around the globe several times.
Every state in the USA except North Dakota and Alaska.' Before that, I played guitar or bass in a punk band called "The Softies", which was an offshoot of The Damned. Touring Europe.More Rock'n Roll, this at one hundred miles an hour, all night long!!
I came to Oregon to write some new material, and had a heart attack! 30 years of Rock and Roll finally caught up with me. The doctor said I couldn't play anymore, but I said, Oh Yeah? So after a couple of adventures with my health, I started writing and playing again. This album is something I always wanted to do. I am in the process again, nearly finished the next one.........
I truly am in awe of nature in all its forms and I am thrilled to be alive and amongst it.. Enjoy the music......Peace.............
