"A Sudenyu Of Yiddish Song" is truly a result of the folk process. Some of the songs are from my childhood memories and some were learned recently from contemporary Yiddish performers - many of whom I met in the summer of 1992 at "Buffalo On The Roof" - a Yiddish music camp in Capon Bridge, West Virginia. To my great surprise and joy, I discovered that Yiddish did not die in the concentration camps. It is very much alive today - "Mir zeynen do!" and so I'm proud to offer "A Sudenyu of Yiddish Song".
