For five years now, weather permitting, the Farmer's String Band has been entertaining the crowds at the Saturday morning Cabrillo Farmer's Market. This seven-piece band plays an engagingly infectious assortment of music, everything from Mexican Polkas to TV themes. Along with an accessible blend of Cajun, Zydeco, Gypsy Jazz, Western Swing, Banjo tunes, Fiddle tunes, Folk, Blues, originals and waltzes... you just never really know what's next!
Once again we are extremely proud to present our latest project and third CD. Included are two new originals that are sure to please. Vicki's heartfelt "When I Miss You Most" and Darren and Karen's lovely "Margaret's Bridge". We're also excited to welcome talented and multi-instrumentalist Mark McCornack. That's Mark's banjo, pedal steel and nylon string guitar you hear throughout the recording. (Check-out the sound clips!)
So luckily, as you sit back and listen to this CD, you'll find yourself realizing that you can be entertained by the Farmer's Market String Band when and wherever you want, no matter what the weather's permitting.
