My name is Gary Rand. I've been a musician-songwriter since forever, it seems. I've played rock and country and never the two shall meet.
I attended Berklee School of Music in 1974. As I like to say, I learned the rules so I could learn how to break them.
I write songs for everyday people. That's why I write country music.
I'm a working man (a rigger by trade) so i understand what we all go through to simply get by. My songs are a companion to life; it's ups and it's downs.
