Every winter I do a benefit concert for my local children's library in Santa Cruz. One year, after singing all of the songs on this album at the concert, one of my young fans asked if he could buy that CD. I remember thinking that was such a great idea, I went home and called my recording engineer - the late great Noel Gott - and booked some time early in January while the material was fresh.
We had alot of fun with the project. It is just myself, my daughter Cecilia, and pianist Jack Bowers. It took us into the summer to finish the project. It was so weird singing "Frosty" in July!! We finished it and had the package ready and in the stores in October.
I get reports for child care centers that they play it all season long and the kids love it. Check it out! It's my fourth and latest CD. (My next one is a children's storytelling CD).
