After years of playing and singing music around the campfire for vacationers in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, it was suggested that I needed to preserve the music, especially the music for kids, on a CD. This is the music I have been singing around campfires since I was a kid in some cases. I have tried to make a CD that both kids and their parents (or, in some cases, their grandparents) can relate to and appreciate. Every once in a while I will see someone wiping a tear from their eye as they listen to one of these songs. Everyone I talk to seems to have a different favorite that takes them back to a time when life was simple, and good, and the memory - the nostalgia - brings a sense of warmth from that time. That's the best! For the new generation of kids who haven't learned the songs (who haven't been to camp yet), this is a CD that they can listen to and learn, and sing along with. Hope you enjoy this!
