By way of introducing this proficient bluegrass unit from Long Island, N.Y., I think it is best to refer you directly to this, their debut recording. Adirondack Rail is an unadulterated, unpretentious, yet skillful production. To listen to this blue ribbon collection of mostly self-penned material is to venture into Ronnie Feinberg and Marjorie Kelting's own personal world of heartfelt, down-to-earth observations and musical influences. The new songs they bring forth resemble the truth, power, and emotions of old country & bluegrass classics. That's a rarity in this day of modern music so lacking in meaning and substance. This project is surely not the 'be-all end-all' of acoustic music for their generation....but you may get the impression that you're awful close to it by the time the last note of this album has faded away.
