The Old Arizona Brass Band (Tucson Arizona's Historic Brass Band), reenactors of the 1885 4th Cavalry Regimental Band of Fort Lowell, Arizona Territory, brings to life the wonderful music of the military and civilian brass bands of the Territorial Period 1863 to 1912.The vintage tunes on their CD, Music from The Western Frontier, reflects the wide variety of musical expression expected of frontier military bands in those early days: patriotic airs, soldier's tunes, orchestral transcriptions, & danceable ditties.
