The Puddletown Ramblers are a Pacific Northwest regional bluegrass band who perform both original songs and old time bluegrass favorites. We are based in Portland, Oregon and perform all over the Northwest. Our blend of harmonious voices will strike that tender chord in your heart and leave you wanting more.
The Puddletown Ramblers began playing professionally in 1997. The three original members met at a "bluegrass class" called Steeplegrass in Vancouver, Washington. David, Tom, and Joe began jamming together on weekends outside of class and David had the idea to start a band. In time the music began to take shape and we started to perform live events and venues. We've played everything from small town community festivals to theaters to private parties. We've met so many nice people over the eight years we have been a band. Our style draws people in and makes them feel as if they are part of the show and we get a lot of repeat clients who really enjoy not only our music but our personalities. Our music is guaranteed to get your foot tapping and put a smile on your face.
"Black Highway" features songs written by David Peterson, our lead guitar player. Heartfelt lyrics and compelling harmonies will give you many hours of listening enjoyment. Black Highway also contains several hard-driving bluegrass favorites as well as tender melodies to soothe the soul.
