"Shiru L'Adonai Shir Chadash...Sing a new song! What a glorious sound, what a wonderful gift, what a beautiful song! Shirav is the new sound, the new gift and the new song!" - Craig Taubman

Shirav, featuring Rabbi David Paskin and Rabbi Menachem Creditor, has produced four albums of contemporary, original Jewish music. A mix of joyful, upbeat tunes and moving liturgical compositions, their music is used around the country in religious schools, camps, synagogues and homes.

In 1994, Shirav produced their first album - First Step. These 11 songs borrow from the sacred texts of the Jewish people and add a whimsical and fun attitude to produce a wonderful debut album.

Their second album recorded in 1995, Give a Little Back is a fun mix of liturgical and educational songs for the whole family.

Recorded in 1997, Miracles Every Day is Shirav’s third release. These 12 songs reflect the growth and maturity that the many years of performing and recording have given Shirav.

HaMakom, Shirav’s fourth release, is an honest and heartfelt album, which brings together powerful yet gentle songs to offer comfort to those who have lost a loved one. Recorded in memory of David’s daughter Liat Chanina (z'l) proceeds from the sale of this album will go to support the Liat Chanina Foundation (www.liati.org) created in his daughter's memory.

Shirav's latest release, Deeper and Deeper, is their finest work to date. With master producer, Josh Nelson, Menachem and David have taken their music to a whole new level of sophistication, musicianship and depth.
