In "Open Roads," Shuly Nathan goes on a variety of musical adventures. For this disc, she recorded two American songs which were translated into Hebrew along with a Hungarian Jewish prayer for the return to Israel from exile, a Japanese farewell song and a Hebrew version of the well-known ballad "Those Were the Days."

The eternal hit that Shuly first made famous, "Jerusalem of Gold," is also present here, with the addition of Jonathan Miller's violin.

"Open Roads" includes Shuly's versions of songs which are popular in Israel today such as David D'Or's "Watch Over Us, Child" and Rami Kleinstein's hit, "Never-Ending Miracles."

Shuly brings the considerable talent and skill of Jonathan Miller and the Taverners to this recording. Rahel Jaskow, with her clear and beautiful voice, also joins Shuly for several tracks. (See Rahel's own disc, "Day of Rest," right here on CD Baby.)
