YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE, MY LORDS, MY LADIES, AND GENTLEMEN!
I have been given the distinct pleasure of informing you
of some very exciting news. You are no doubt familiar with
the group of mystical and ancient musicians known as The Rogues.
I am sure you have also already purchased their CD, "Real Men
Wear Kilts." (If not it is available and in stock at CD Baby) You already know, of course, the exciting and legendary history of these fine minstrels: their humble beginning as a group
of young musicians in the days of yore, who, through what can only
be described as divine mandate, were forged into a band whose
name echoed through the centuries. Their long history of musical
excellence and innovation is already known to you, as is the fame
they achieved through their sellout performances in King Arthur's
court at Camelot. They were sought after by all the greats, who wished
to hear the Rogues' marvelous melodies in their own halls. Alexander
the Great valued them above all the musicians of his realm. William the
Conquerer was himself conquered by the heart-wrenching beauty of their tunes. Even the mighty Gengis Kahn was brought to tears by their music. Since those glorious
days, The Rogues have changed their name
to The Celtic Rogues, in order to avoid confusion with various other
rogues that have been known to roam the lands. But, the most exciting
news is that they now have a new CD for sale! Recorded live on that
most sacred of holidays, Saint Patrick's Day, The Celtic Rogues "Alive and
Well on St Patrick's Day" contains a collection of new and exciting tunes as well as the melodies
of old! Now is the time to purchase the latest CD from these musicians of
fame and legend. So buy one, and rejoice in the musical ecstasy!
