After annoying shopkeepers and delighting pedestrians in Portland, Maine's Old Port for 13 years with their rollicking sense of holiday spirit, the boys of The Half Moon Jug Band have decided to put it all down on a new CD called "Christmas on Exchange Street." With the help of Rob Sylvain of Gigafone Records and a batch of super-secret recording technology developed for the space program, the band has been able to capture an authentic roadside performance on tape.

Listen, to this merry band of sidewalk subversives gently, yet firmly, rip through a set of holiday classics on banjo, guitar, kazoo, mandolin, bass and drums. Lean into your speakers and catch an audio glimpse of Christmastime on Exchange Street with its bustling shoppers, loitering youths and sub-freezing temperatures.
