The New England Bluegrass Band is:

The FIRST recording of THE NEW ENGLAND BLUEGRASS BAND (NEBgB) Nationally obscure, but regionally highly praised, the band includes recognized master intrumentalists and a serious top shelf vocal ensemble. This band includes members who are individually recognized far and wide for having paid their dues.
The band members have credentials that include national and international touring and collaborations with such national bluegrass luminaries as: J.D. Crowe, Tony Rice, Don Stover, Joe Val, Auldridge, Bennett & Gaudreau. With flatpicking championships and IBMA Instrumentalist of The Year nominations, the band is truly on the very highest levels of musicianship and entertainment.
Formed in 1999 by some of New England's top bluegrass musicians, (Yes Virginia, New England has a lot of really hotbluegrass!) this first recording displays the strength that sets this band apart. NEBgB possesses the artistic depth and integrity to technically awe and inspire, but more importantly includes the SOUL that can often be missing in a band of hot pickers. (They don't give soul lessons!) This CD (Things In Life) presents a wide variety of song material with great arrangements, yet stays true to the real deal bluegrass feeling.
Personally, this band is always approachable and entertaining with audiences and musicians alike. A sincere and fun stage presence; they can rip it up and tear it down and keep a crowd entertained with a cheshire cat's grin. Ultimately, this band is one of true bluegrass professionals.
