A compilation of twenty songs from various Maine artists. An evolution in recording live broadcast events of "Our Front Porch on Penobscot Bay".
Join host Dale Preston and Co-Host/Engineer Rick Winslow for an enjoyable CD filled with down to Earth music from some of Maine's finest artists. Some of these artists are in the Maine Country Hall of Fame, some just getting their feet wet, but all of them very pleasant to listen to.
This CD encompasses recordings made at the Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education in Rockland, Maine from September of 2002 to April of 2003 for a Live radio broadcast on community radio station WRFR FM 93.3 in Rockland.
The music is as recorded on-site, not what was broadcast over the air. Some clips of the recordings are available here for you to get an idea of what is included on the CD.
Help support us as we support the independent recording artist. Your purchase covers the cost of the CD and equipment used to record independent artists in midcoast Maine. We charge artists nothing (zip, zero) for making the CD of their performance and provide a full copy to them within days of their original performance. Why? Because commercial radio has no heart anymore. The indie artist has love of music that is genuine and cannot always afford the exposure the big labels provide. We're an avenue that our Maine grown artists can take.
