Arthur Johnson, Jr.
Arthur Johnson, Jr. is a happy energetic person. An excellent singer, song writer and musician. The ninth child of ten God blessed children. He began singing under the inspiration of his father, from whom he received his training at the early age of 8 years. Arthur has been a singer,musician and director in many choirs and groups. Along with his ability to work well with others he has performed at various schools and many churches as a solo artist. The Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, Sacramento Gospel Fest, Northeast Ohio Gospel Expo, the California State Fair and opening for such acts as the Gospel Group Commissioned have earned this blossoming artist respect and renown nationwide. He has sang the National Anthem at major sporting events such as Rivercats AAA baseball in Sacramento, Ca.
Along with his music, Arthur has great acting skills. He attended acting classes at Northern California Casting through John Robert Powers, which opened many doors for him, to play various roles in a number of T.V. commercials. With this broad spectrum of talent Arthur is a top choice when it comes to singing at weddings, banquets and various functions. He is a great entertainer and knows how to bring laughter into the lives of many. His recent success recording his debut cd release, "I Can Feel Him" featuring the hot single, "Lay your hands on me Jesus" which is making its way around the country being played on many radio stations, as well as television, is a sure barometer of this gifted young man's talent.
As a recording artist his desire is to continue to write songs as God delivers and to minister to the world showing love, joy, and salvation through Jesus Christ. God is the head of his life and with God all things are possible. Arthur can truly say "I Sing Because I'm Happy."
