This CD contains instrumental performances of Christian Hymns from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The hymns are rendered in a variety of musical styles, from solo Hammond Organ to Jazz arrangements featuring the organ as the primary melody instrument.
I chose the songs on this CD simply because they help me rest (Hebrews 4:1-13). The composers of these songs presented Christ as all in all. They spoke of being overjoyed and greatly burdened, and of both circumstances leading them to Christ ("It was grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved"). YES!
