Slindile is one of Africa's 12 million AIDS orphans. After losing both her parents to the disease she now lives in the AGAPE orphanage in South Africa.
AGAPE is home to 25 children and offers them warmth, love and protection. In January 2005 the home was destroyed in an electrical fire. The children are now homeless and sleep in a converted shipping container.
The children aged 7 to 16 years, all have wonderful voices. They were donated studio time to record a CD of traditional Zulu songs and help raise funds to rebuild their home. The CD is beautiful and has been described by musician Dan Zanes as "The CD of the Year"
You can help the children rebuild their home today by buying their CD and empowering them to use their talents to help improve their situation.
