"Christmas with the Dallas Christian Jazz Band," released in 1999, features thirteen holiday favorites, both sacred and secular. Engineered by Byron Parks, the CD includes 11 tracks with the entire big band, plus one selection each by a Dixieland band and a trombone quartet, both comprised of DCJB members. As Music Director David Kelley explains in the liner notes, it seemed logical for the DCJB to record Christmas music: "The Christmas season is a special time each year for our group, as we celebrate the birth of Christ through our music, played in area malls and churches."Check out the artist's website:
