The Assignment
My love for music began as a small child. My mother would gather her six children together and we would spend hours singing the gospel favorites of the time. As my love for God and gospel music developed under the guidance of my parents, we established the Williams Family gospel singers.
To me, the gift of song is no a simple exercise of the skill and ability that God has provided; it is a true expression of my love for the Father, and my appreciation for the wonderful blessings that He has brought to my life.
During my career I have performed as a soloist at the National Church Of God In Christ Youth Talent Hour. I’ve been very blessed to have been tutored by and performed wit gospel greats such as Madame Mattie Moss-Clark, Reverend Timothy Wright, Bishop Richard “Mr. Clean†White, and Reverend James Moore.
Upon moving to Atlanta, Georgia, I joined the New Life Tabernacle COGIC, under the leadership of Pastor Joseph E. Hogan,Sr. and remain an active member, Praise & Worship Leader, I have served in the capacity of Organist and Choir Direcress. I count it a privilege as a Christian to serve in the ministry of music, and to give honor to the Father who has created us all to worship and obey Him.
As a recording artist, it is my goal to musically minister to the masses by encouraging victorious living, bring hope to the oppressed, and stirring up the spirit of joy in the brokenhearted. The Lord has given me an assignment, so I must work the works of Him that sent meâ€...this is how the title of my CD, The Assignment was birthed. Thank you so much for inquiring about me.
