Born in 1955.
Del grew up in Gardena, CA attended grade school in Gardena.
Attended Azusa Pacific College, where he majored in Business Administration, with minor studies in Bible.
While attending College, Del sang with the Male Chorale, the Concert Choir as well as the Oratorio Choir.
Del was featured as a soloist on the recording of "Every Time I Feel the Spirit" as recorded by the Azusa Pacific College Male Chorale's album "Alive and Well".
Del was also a soloist for the college's combined choirs, singing the solo lead on "My Tribute".
Del was featured with The Carson Players in the musical, "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope!".
Del has served as a church choir director for the past 21 years.
Del Haynes is a licensed minister with the Baptist Church.
Del Haynes completed his Master Degree in Business Administration from California State University at Dominguez Hills in 1983.
Del completed his first CD in 2001.
The title song, "God's Gonna Take My Hand" is an original composition by Del's friend and church musician, Bobby Hopkins of Cleveland, Ohio.
Del is a memeber of the Interdenominational Mass Choir of Los Angeles, as well as Musician's in Action of Los Angeles.
In November of 2001, Del receive a Music Ministry Award from his peers in Musician in Action.
