Meet the Musician
Doug Benjamin, born in Idaho and raised in Hermiston, Oregon, is the son of Larry and Dorothy Benjamin. Doug began his formal training on the saxophone at the early age of nine. He continued his musical instruction throughout high school, playing in the school band. Inspired by the style of saxophone legends, Boots Randolph and Kenny G., Doug expanded his musical activities to include church programs, charity events and Karaoke. Doug has apeared on
Three Angels Broadcasting World Wide Network and Safe TV Net
Work and Trinty Broadcasting Net Work.
The Lord granted Doug his heart's desire of making his own album in this first CD entitled "Smooth Sounds of Great Gospel Classics". Doug's goal in life is to share his love of Christian music with everyone he meets. His hope is that you will enjoy listening to this production as much as he enjoyed creating it.
