Hope began singing when she was three years old. It was about the time she would pick up a hair brush, pretending that it was a microphone and that she was a star....Little did she know that these events were God's way of planting seeds in her life. Nor could she have known that it would take more than thirty years for these seeds to grow.
In the summer of 2004 an event would occur that changed Hope's life forever. It was 3:00 in the morning. She was awakened with a sudden urgency to pray. Hope was then drawn to the east window in her kitchen and began to pray. It was at that moment that the Lord instructed her to clean out her window sill. Although she had no idea what this meant, she was obedient to the request and cleared the window sill out. Only then was Hope ready for the next step in His plan for the ministry He was preparing her for. Over the next few nights God contiued to wake her at 3:oo a.m., not to clean out the window sill, but to give her songs to write. This continued throughout the summer. As a result she now has over 100 songs to record. This CD is the first result of those seeds which God planted so long ago.
Many times God has allowed events in our lives to bless us in a special, and many times we think these blessings are meant just for us. Until Hope began recording her songs she thought these songs were meant just for her, to bless her life and to heal her broken heart. She knows now that they were meant to share with others. Hope's prayer is that your lives may be blessed and that your hearts may be healed as you listen to these gifts from God.
