Ida Haynes currently serves at "New Life Praise Ministries" as an Associate Minister, under her husbands
Pastorate in Aiken, SC. She began writing songs at the
age of 22. She also then committed her life to Christ.
Not knowing what God had instored for her, she took a
a step of faith.
Ida was born in Philadelphia, PA. Through her husbands
military career they moved to Fulda, Germany, where she
became the Praise & Worship Leader, where her husband
also pastored. Ida shows no shyness when it comes to
being in the presence of the Lord through worship.
The title cut song on this cd is "Chains" which is designed to heal the hurting, and set the captive free.
Although this song was written in 1978, it yet still touch lives today. Ida sang with the group "New Life" which
traveled all over singing the songs of zion. Each member
was committed to an intimate personal relationship with
God. They especially enjoyed the Prision Ministry.
Ida is married to a wonderful "Man of God" District Elder Gerald Haynes. They have three wonderful children,
Nakisha, Terrell, and Israel. Ida Has released her "CD"
entitled "No More Chains" This is my testimony! Ida has
a soothing voice, that births healing in the lives of those that have heard her melodic voice. The beauty of
this CD is each song is a personal testimony so that she
can effectively ministered to those that are hurting. She has ministered overseas and the states alike just to leave a word of encouragement in song. There are times when
no one may understand what you have been through, that
is when the songs in this release will help someone to
know, You can make it in spite of the storm. "Where the Spirit of the "Lord" is there is liberty.
Her songs have traveled through out time with people all
