Without compromising God’s word, vision or faith, the vital voice of Inger Reid is reaching out and
touching the hearts and souls of people everywhere. Inger is versatile and refreshing offering music with
a universal appeal united with heart piercing ministry, inviting all to ‘taste and see that the Lord is good.’
Inger began in music as part of the praise and worship team at her home church in Miami, Florida; there
is where Reid says she really began to understand the true meaning and the magnitude of ministry. After
grasping the purpose of ministry, she accepted the method of ministry the Lord had chosen for her,
Music! Inger began to sharpen her skills by doing background vocals for local artist and jingles for local
and regional ads, as well as singing at conferences, prayer breakfasts, weddings and other special
functions. The Lord broadened the reach of Inger’s music ministry when she completed her debut album
He’s My Everything, which received a contemporary new artist nomination from the prestigious Stellar
Awards.
A multitalented artist, Inger has hosted and narrated the popular “Black History Gospel Tribute,†a
nationally syndicated program that broadcasted in nearly 200 markets. She has the distinct privilege of
being the only artist to appear on four of the nationally syndicated specials “ Badami Productions
Presents.†Inger has traveled across the country singing in conferences, concerts, church services and
recordings and has co-labored with other artist such as: Daryl Coley, Yolanda Adams, Vickie Winans,
Marvin Sapp, Gary Oliver, Nancey Jackson, Lisa Paige-Brooks and many others.
Although busy in music, Inger still makes time to be involved in other facets of ministry. She teaches and
is actively a part of the teen ministry at Vessels of Harvest Ministries in Canyon Country, California,
where she is also the Praise & Worship leader. Inger has traveled with S.E.A.P., an outreach program
within the Los Angeles Unified School System that uses music as a vehicle for motivation among our
youth. She bears the honor of being the only gospel artist in the program.
Inger also found the stage a welcoming venue and began expanding the gifts of God through acting. The
well-known West Angeles Theater was home to “What Is This World Coming To,†which starred Inger
Reid. “For so long entertainment has been a dirty word in the Christian arena. In order to minister
effectively, I must first capture your attention. Entertainment has the necessary appeal to do that,
therefore, I will utilize ALL the gifts God has entrusted me with to entertain the soul of man, thus
opening the door to minister to the spirit of man!†States a passionate Reid.
With a debut album under her belt, television and radio appearances, concerts and plays, Inger Reid is
demonstrating that she is ready and willing to go forth and compel men to come unto Christ. Knowing
that no one can come unless the Spirit draw them, Reid says it is vital for the Holy Spirit to reign in her
life, her music and her ministry.
Inger has since relocated to her home church, Theos' Ministries, in Miami, Florida-where she co-pastor the Teen Ministry. Inger is also an on air personality in the 6-10am slot at the number one inspirational station in Miami.
