The name's...KINIMAN
Yakini "KINIMAN" Franklin is a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native. He is currently attending the prestigious and historical Black college, Southern University A & M where he is majoring in the ARTS. Kiniman is a multi-talented vocalist whose budding, GOD-given talents extend beyond just singing: he is also an extraordinary lyricist and visual artist.
Though he has had a few minor set backs in pursuing his music endeavor, Kiniman was very blessed and fortunate to complete his first gospel album, "GOD Is Real." His great admiration for gospel singer, Tonex, has inspired him to reach new heights in developing his style.
Kiniman has been singing since he was a youth. And as a result of his Christian conviction, Gospel is his preferred genre of music. But his roots run even further---both his father and uncle are ministers. So, one can see why his devotion to GOD and gospel music "is real."
