Hello everyone, I thank you for your e-mails showing concern for my grandmother. At the moment she is doing the best she can and is drawing her strength for the Lord. She understand that the Lord forgives and although injustice has been done to her with information being with held concerning her options for a plea, she knows that God has all things in control and it will work for the good of all involved. God has sent Ms. Phaedrea Parks of the Parks Groups Law firm to assist in the motion for a new trial. A fair trial with all information being given is simply what we want for our grandmother. Also the new attorney has contacted the victims family and is aware of the motion. We do things decent and inorder, not trying to cause more harm to anyone, but as I stated a fair trial with the proper representation is what we seek.

Please forgive me for I told you that I would post the date of my interview with CourtTv, I did not find out until the day before the actual trial was to be aired and I was to do a live call in, which I did, as well as the actual interview being shown throughout. I share my life with you, it shows no one is immune to the trials of life. I am human just as you are, but we are to, as Christians handle our business in a Christ like manner with prayer and obedience being at the forefront, not abandoning our sisters and brothers in Christ when they have made a mistake even a tragic one. God looks at us to see how we listen and obey him in times of trouble, others also watch us. So remember if you feel injustice has been done, you as a Christian are never told to sit with your arms folded and do nothing about it and just let others walk on you. NO!!!!!!!!! You go through the proper channels on handling the matter in a Christlike state.
Some people with lack of knoweledge would say, "well God will handle it, just let it go". I say to that, I have a Father that gives wisdom in all situations and it boils down to hearing the voice of the Lord and how he wants the situation handled. God could, if he wanted to, say let it go, but in wisdom and in knowing how he handles things in former times, that is in the bible days and in my personal life. It is not sitting well with him. It will be handled in the way he want it to be with patience and with listening to his instructions.

Remember trials are there to strengthen us. They come to build our faith and character. No matter what we endure, we look to the hills from which cometh our help. God is faithful and he knows what he is doing in our lives. I tell myself over and over again, ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THEM THAT LOVE GOD, AND TO THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE. However God choose to work things out in your life and mine, there we are to be content and grateful, he makes no mistakes, BE ENCOURAGED!!! At this time we are cancelling our summer "GOSPEL APOLLO" which was scheduled for July 29th 2006.
Please pray for Lena and her family as they not only deal with the decision that was handed down by the Fulton County Courts concerning their grandmother, but also new information has surfaced that the Georgia Justice Project Organization, that represented their grandmother, never revealed a plea offer to the family that was given by the prosecutor's office which would have greatly reduced the sentence of life plus 5 yrs. for their grandmother.
As the family discuss the matter with attorneys they want the public to know, it is not their hope in setting their grandmother free, for they, as well as their grandmother, know she was found guilty of a crime and must pay according to the law. The problem is justice could have been served with the plea offer of 15 yrs, to serve anywhere from 3 to 5 yrs incarserated which THE GEORGIA JUSTICE PROJECT failed to disclosed, not only to the family, but chose to discuss this information only with their grandmother at the age of 78(Lena Sims Driskell), who was given limited information by her attorney and therefore chose to go to court against better judgement and received a sentence of life plus 5 yrs. The family received word of a plea offer the following Saturday after the trial.

Hello even though our summer "GOSPEL APOLLO" has been cancelled, we look forward to our fall event which is on the calender for OCTOBER 28TH 2006 @ 6:00PM COLLEGE PARK AUDITORIUM.
Always at our fall "GOSPEL APOLLO" we have a costume contest for children and adults. (ALL COSTUMES MUST BE PRESENTABLE AND OF FUN CHARACTERS).

LENA'S TESTIMONY:
Lena D. Holt began her journey, not when God delivered her from drug addiction, but before the foundation of the world. She knows that in her heart she has always been on a set course, she knew this as a child, that something was different. As she grew into a young adult she found herself in the hands of something that knew also she was destined to do great things for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (SATAN KNEW ALSO)
Lena states, now to all those who know that God works all things together for the good of them that love him and are called according to his purpose, know that he is more than capable of handling anything that comes into his called ones life. We know that his Spirit is sufficient enough to handle whatever length of time needed to complete the task.
The Spirit of the Lord spoke to Lena in April of 1996. Told her to leave everything and take her children,( now teenagers) 2 boys into a shelter where he will lead her. She obeyed and entered Cascade House on April 29, 1996. For her obedience she recieved total deliverance. Now into, her then townhouse entered (July 1996), the same year, in October of 1996 while in a fasting period, the Spirit tapped Lena on the shoulder and spoke, "IT'S TIME TO RECORD TO REACH A VAST NUMBER OF PEOPLE". She began to write and record.
She stated that Jesus Christ not only delivers, but he delivers to the point of wiping the conscience clean. She maintains that if she had not gone through that period of time herself, it would be hard to believe if someone had just told her. (NOW THAT'S REAL DELIVERANCE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST AND NOTHING ELSE, FOR WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS TRULY FREE INDEED).
We know that there is a set time for all things in which the Father speaks to come to pass. She knows, that he that has begun a good work within her is able to complete it until the day of Jesus Christ, is also able to make her walk upright.
Lena is also the CEO of "OUT OF EXPERIENCE MINSTRIES, INC." which is a Non-Profit 501 c 3 approved organization. This is not a 4 wall church but is a helper of the local church to keep the individual encouraged by providing fun and exciting family outlets.
Lena is the writer of all lyrics and creator of the melodies to each song. She is a BMI song writer and also has her own publishing company through BMI called, "OUT OF EXPERIENCE MUSIC".
She knows that God is not a man that he should lie, he spoke it and he will do it. She states it is indeed a privilege that God would even allow her to represent his kingdom.(OH WHAT GRACE HE'S BESTOWED ON HER), I must state myself knowing Lena personally, you must hear her speak also. She tells me that she knows once her mission is complete, Jesus Christ is coming for her. (IT'S DEEP)

LENA'S TESTIMONY:
Lena D. Holt began her journey, not when God delivered her from drug addiction, but before the foundation of the world. She knows that in her heart she has always been on a set course, she knew this as a child, that something was different. As she grew into a young adult she found herself in the hands of something that knew also she was destined to do great things for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (SATAN KNEW ALSO)
Lena states, now to all those who know that God works all things together for the good of them that love him and are called according to his purpose, know that he is more than capable of handling anything that comes into his called ones life. We know that his Spirit is sufficient enough to handle whatever length of time needed to complete the task.
The Spirit of the Lord spoke to Lena in April of 1996. Told her to leave everything and take her children,( now teenagers) 2 boys into a shelter where he will lead her. She obeyed and entered Cascade House on April 29, 1996. For her obedience she recieved total deliverance. Now into, her then townhouse entered (July 1996), the same year, in October of 1996 while in a fasting period, the Spirit tapped Lena on the shoulder and spoke, "IT'S TIME TO RECORD TO REACH A VAST NUMBER OF PEOPLE". She began to write and record.
She stated that Jesus Christ not only delivers, but he delivers to the point of wiping the conscience clean. She maintains that if she had not gone through that period of time herself, it would be hard to believe if someone had just told her. (NOW THAT'S REAL DELIVERANCE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST AND NOTHING ELSE, FOR WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS TRULY FREE INDEED).
We know that there is a set time for all things in which the Father speaks to come to pass. She knows, that he that has begun a good work within her is able to complete it until the day of Jesus Christ, is also able to make her walk upright.
Lena is also the CEO of "OUT OF EXPERIENCE MINSTRIES, INC." which is a Non-Profit 501 c 3 approved organization. This is not a 4 wall church but is a helper of the local church to keep the individual encouraged by providing fun and exciting family outlets.
Lena is the writer of all lyrics and creator of the melodies to each song. She is a BMI song writer and also has her own publishing company through BMI called, "OUT OF EXPERIENCE MUSIC".
She knows that God is not a man that he should lie, he spoke it and he will do it. She states it is indeed a privilege that God would even allow her to represent his kingdom.(OH WHAT GRACE HE'S BESTOWED ON HER), I must state myself knowing Lena personally, you must hear her speak also. She tells me that she knows once her mission is complete, Jesus Christ is coming for her. (IT'S DEEP)
To see the Love that she so expresses for the Father by laying down all else and following him, let her encourage you as she's been called to do.
