Can I get a witness? TESTIFY to the awesomeness of our God through Fresh Arrangements, Full Harmonies, and Faith-Filled Messages
Eight voices -- four men and four women -- provide warm, tight and soaring a cappella harmonies and contrapuntal rhythms in this fusion of contemporary Christian praise, traditions of the early church, and even a little Baroque (see if you can find the hidden tune!). These 16 tracks embrace a broad range of worship experience, from the humble contemplative "Breathe," to the exuberant celebration of "Testify to Love," to the contagious excitement of Darlene Zschech's "God is Awesome in this Place."
While there are many CCM and a cappella groups, few combine those quite like Lights. Our music is accessible and harmonious yet sophisticated. We're not "doo-wop" -- though that's enjoyable -- but we have more "going on" with our vocal lines, rather than everyone singing the same rhythms or doubling other voices.
Add Point of Grace, Phillips Craig and Dean, plus one, and you'd have our mix of voice types.
All our songs are arranged especially to accentuate the group's diverse vocal talents and large ranges, with solos from all eight singers. We enjoy fresh arrangements of worship songs through which we hope to help usher many to the Throne of God.
Most of our concerts are held in New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. We can adapt from among the following formats:
- Worship Leading: We serve as a praise/worship team.
- Concert Numbers: We perform numbers from our concert repertoire.
- A combination of Worship Leading and Concert Numbers
