Meet Maaziah Mountain! This is the Upton family band; Jim, April, Shaina, and Laiel from Athens, Tennessee. With vocals, guitar, bass, mandolin, cello, fiddle, and all sorts of percussion, this group performs in a style all their own that your whole family can enjoy! They write the majority of their repertoire, and people have described their music as "relaxing", and "inspirational". Their CD, All I'll Leave in Dixie, showcases many original ballads inspired by history. Their CD, A Place Called Hope, highlights more of their original music, but focuses more on spiritual/inspirational compositions. They have been playing together for about four years now, all the way from Jekyll Island, Georgia, to Medford, Oregon. If they're ever close by, don't miss the opportunity to hear them!
