The New Jerusalem Fire Choir is a thirty-five member Choir composed of professional male and female vocalist and five band members specializing in traditional and contemporary gospel. Their unique arrangements coupled with their sincere desire to "make a joyful noise" make their live performances without peer!
Under the dynamic leadership of the acclaimed international choir director and producer Elianai formally known as David Revell, Co-Director Elesheva (AKA "Sister Soul" in the Holy Land) and band leader Yahirah, the New Jerusalem Fire Choir is the essence of their name. They sing and perform with a shimmering urgency and power that is nothing less than fiery! This carefully balanced blend of voices are dedicated in spreading the word of Yah (God) singing in either English and or/Hebrew.
The New Jerusalem Fire Choir has performed for, hosted, and/or sang background for such great personalities as Shirley Caesar, Dr. Bobby Jones, Andre Crouch, Bishop Larry Trotter, Barry White, Steve Wonder, Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, Neville Brothers, Muddy Waters, Winnie Mandela, Congressman Danny Davis, Teresa Hairston, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Ray Charles, Billy Combham, Robert Kool Bell (Kool and the Gang), William Marshall, (Shakespearian actor) Alvin Ailey Dance Company, and Rudy Hawkins.
