The individual responsible for this great music is Betty Mullens Hayes. Betty Hayes has dedicated a lifetime to gospel music. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, she has influenced countless lives as both an accomplished musician and pioneer within her local gospel community.
The group Ordinary People was founded in 1980. The members include: Betty Hayes, Founder and President; Marion Kelly, Baritone; Tanita Gillum, Soprano; George Hayes, Tenor; Tanya Henry, Alto; and Guy Hayes, Bass Guitar.
Over the years, this music ministry has traveled extensively throughout the Midwest with a primary focus on prisons, juvenile centers, and half-way houses.
