Born in Texas, raised in Texas and married in Texas. I began painting in the early 1990's as a way of relaxation. I began writing music at the beginning of 2003. Today, I paint and write when motivated by passion, emotion, and by people who challenge me, affect me, and who are my "dream supporters." And, one of my biggest dream supporter's is my husband, co-writer and friend, Marvin Denison. I credit my creativity to my "Dream Giver" and Creative Lord. It is He Who brings enthusiasm to my creative moments.
With no formal training in art or music, I simply create what inspires me, and what I've lived. Whether painting or writing music, I take a unique alternative to the norm, a heart perspective. Though occasionally I have made a brief stint at trying to accommodate, by request, another person's style, it is short lived. My pen and paint brush rebels. You see, I cannot run a race for someone else, I have to run my own race. I run the race in a way that I might win. The prize for me? It's a landmark piece of art or music that shows where I've been and where I am going. The music you will experience will take you on a journey, and it will tell a story.
Why "No Hesitation?" Jesus knew that the dusty floor of the carpentry shop, the wood and the nails that was part of His living, would be painfully part of His dying. The Creator, Who created all life, allowed His very own creation to take that life away from Him. Picture it if you will, Jesus standing in the carpentry shop once more before it's time to face the cross. The scent of the sawdust and the memories as He runs his hand across the saw, would be of comfort to Him. Then, at that very moment, through His mirror, He sees the image of your face. Christ made the choice, No Hesitation.
Jesus wants to give real authentic life, and He didn't hesitate to make it possible, so don't hesitate to listen to the music. My wish is that it takes you into His arms.
