Judah began in the fall of 2000 as a praise and worship team for Phillips Metropolitan Christian Methodist Episcopal Church's Friday Night Live Services. Friday Night Live is a national initiative of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church designed to prepare the hearts of its youth and the youth of the community to experience a mighty move of God. After many rehearsals and many hours in prayer, it became apparent to the members of Judah that God's purpose for this group extended beyond Friday Night Live Services. God began to open many doors for this group and they have led praise and worship for conferences throughout the North and Southeast portions of the United States. Judah has been blessed to share the stage with such anointed preachers and singers as: Pastor James B. Walker, Elder Maggie Joyner, Rev. Dr. Henry Delaney, Evangelist Beverly Crawford, Wilmington - Chester Mass Choir, University of Connecticut Voices of Freedom Gospel Choir, Youthful Praise and the singing sisters Mary, Mary.
We are thankful to God for every opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song.
