In 1987, God inspired Brother Robert Ladson to write several lyrics and melodies to accompany them. Desiring to have his music documented in publication and recordings and shared with the world, he called together several friends to help him vocally. Thus, a demo-tape was produced. From this demo-tape came the group's, now known as the Robert Ladson Ensemble, first recording on cassette entitled "All Is Not Lost".
The Ensemble has ministered, toured and performed on the east coast from New York to Virginia. Their ministry has been carried to nursing homes and prisons and correctional facilities from New York to Virginia.
They are comprised of many voices from different church backgrounds. It is wonderful to witness them come together and enjoy the blessings that come from blending their talents to magnify the Lord. Several of its members have written songs and shared them with the director and group.
It is with great joy and gratitude to God that the Robert Ladson Ensemble releases this new CD titled "Hold On - You Can Make It With The Lord". Through this project, the Ensemble continues to support its mission to bring forth "The Word" in song to the best of their ability and with God's anointing.
