"Searching"
This new album was released under an independent record label, JEP Productions Inc. This label and production company was founded by Johnnie, Ed and Paul. Thus JEP Productions was formed. The vision is to give other aspiring artist the opportunity to realize their dream of being recorded and produced. JEP Productions has a continued vision of writing and producing more projects themselves, as well as writing, recording and producing for other artist's. This company also has a professional music teacher in the person of Brother Johnnie Hall, to teach and cultivate new and upcoming talent.
The new release "Searching" can be heard on various radio stations throughout eastern US and is available for purchase on CD through this website and by calling the contact number provided on the contact page. It will be available also in bible book stores soon.
"Silver Stars of Glory":A Meager Beginning
This group originated about 40 years ago. While three of the members of the Silver Stars of Glory were just lads going to church, two of the deacons of the church, Deacon Charlie and then Deacon Edro Hall, saw talent in these young boys along with three of their cousins. They had a vision of them exercising their talents by starting a gospel quartet and naming them the "Silver Stars". Deacon Charlie began putting them on church programs and even on stage at PTO meetings at their local school. They continued these performances through out their youth.
In 1975 members of the group dedicated their lives to Christ and in "76 they reorganized the group and gained a seventh member. Deacon Charlie was delighted and gave them his support. He would always say, "You boys should go all the way to professional". This group continued to grow in the Lord as they traveled from town to town and state to state lifting up the name of Jesus in songs. During this time, two of the members were called into the ministry. Minister Edwin was one of them. He along with Brother Johnnie and Brother Paul kept the vision of becoming professional singers and taking this "ministry in song" throughout the world "to all people".
They came together to write and record an album of brand new songs inspired of them by the Holy Ghost. Only three of the original Silver Stars are part of this new group. They have added four new members and changed the name of the group to the "Silver Stars of Glory". In July 2004, these God fearing men realized their dream and released to the public their first new album entitled "Searching".
The members of the" Silver Stars of Glory" are Min. Edwin, Johnnie, Paul, Jeremy and Paul Hall Jr. of Beulaville, NC and Vincent and Torrance Hall of Marietta, Ga.
This an anointed group of men dedicated to serving and living for God as they go about lifting up His name in praises. This song ministry is growing and continuing to be received and embraced by the public. The motto for the group is "A Ministry in Song to All People". The "Silver Stars of Glory" are available to perform "in concert", at church functions, funerals, family reunions, and other special events.
