Under the instruction of rising music producer and choir director, Rick Rhoda, the Elizabethtown Community Choir (ECC) has a mandate to invite audiences to worship "In Spirit and In Truth". Being the ministry's first national recording, "In Spirit and In Truth" has gained favor and recognition from various industry professionals and music reviewers. It is no wonder that a special guest appearance on the album by the choir that is described as a "jewel" by Stan North of Gospelflava.com, was made by Mae Newton of the Shirley Caesar Singers on the album titled track. Newton fondly states, "They are not just an excellent choir but their love for God shines through in the songs and most of all their personalities."
To also guide the project, ECC enlisted the help of songwriter and musician, Eric Reed who has worked, played and written songs for Daryl Coley, Fred Hammond, Brian Moore and now ECC. The group proves that they can hold their own amongst a list of superb choirs. Jay Bryant of XM Radio states, "The Elizabethtown Community Choir has the potential the be the next perennial choir....just like Mississippi Mass or Georgia Mass."
Listeners can experience foot tapping, aisle-dancing joy with "Enter His Gates" and "I Find No Fault", while gaining hope through their sincere adoration and heartfelt lyrics of "Grateful" and "In Spirit and In Truth". The group's vocals compliment each God inspired note and lyric.
This choir is poised to minister to the masses in their debut album "In Spirit and In Truth". It is inevitable that Elizabethtown Community Choir will continue with the leading of the Holy Spirit to elevate audiences across the world until the day of Jesus Christ.
