Being led by the Holy Sprit, the Gospel Stars were founded in 1980 by Bro. Frankie & Kathrine Sandifer along with their two teenage sons Rev.Mark E.Sandifer and Mike Sandifer and christian friends Kenneth and Erivin Baptiste.Together they ventured out,on the battlefield for the Lord spreading the word in songs. In 1985 the group paused. only to be reunited in 1998 with a covenant to worship and praise God. Rev.Mark was given a vision from the Holy Sprit of God that would take the group to a higher level as recording artist.
