Dr. Willie Barber, Drums, Spoken Words, Executive Producer. Willie was born in Baltimore, Maryland and educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Morgan State University in Music Education and a Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Social Work from Howard University, Washington, D.C. He has been married for thirty-eight years to his high school sweetheart, Shirley, and is the father of two adult sons and the grandfather of three grandsons and one granddaughter.
In addition to his interest and passion for music, Willie is very committed to the "fatherhood/family movement. " He has experiences as a practitioner and in program development and implementation that focuses on providing services to fathers in an effort to identify and remove barriers that prevented them from meeting their roles as responsible, accountable and effective fathers. He also has over 40 years of experience as a musician (percussionist) and over 35 years of experience in the field of social work.

In 2003 Willie retired from his teaching position in the Department of Social Work, Morgan State University to devote more time to God, his family, his music ministry, the fatherhood/family movement, writing and consultation with human services organizations. He is also a member of the music ministry at the church where he was baptized as a teenager, Mt. Pleasant Church and Ministries, Baltimore, MD, Bishop Clifford M. Johnson, Jr., Senior Pastor. This is the third CD releaed by Willie since 2003. He and his friends continue to minister to church congregations in the Maryland, Washington D.C. areas.
