Willie Graves started singing at the tender age of nine. His grandfather, founder of several quartet groups in the North Carolina area, inspired him to sing. Willie Graves performed with the Goldeneers for over thirty years, a popular North Carolina group. The group, performed in various cities and toured with J J Folly and the original Soul Stirrers, appeared with Luther Barnes and Sunset Jubilaires on his anniversary and opened for James Thomas Big Gospel program in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Willie Graves, the lead vocalist was determined to find the finest performers to create this group. He looked to family and friends who are also gifted singers and musicians to bring together this group known as Willie Graves and N’ Covenent.
