Now touring with Kid Rock!

The music industry has seen the power of the Detroit City White Boys over the past few years and that is a far from diminishing one. Paradime, born and raised Freddie Beauregard, has been a force in the Detroit music scene well before MTV and Rolling Stone started dropping names like Eminem, Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker. His first release was in 1991, and altough only a few hundred copies were pressed up and sold, it marked the beggining of an incredible career for this drunken microphone bully.
Discovered by rock/rapper Kid Rock in '95 in a Detroit studio, Paradime worked closley with Rock. Doing small tour dates with the soon to be superstar, honing his stage skills, and penning lyrics for Rock and his protegŽ Uncle Kracker.
In 1998, Dime formed his own label, Beats at Will, linked with Silent Records and released his first solo project Paragraphs. The album featured the work of artists like D12, S.U.N., Invincible, and other Detroit area heavyweights and featured bonafide Detroit classics like "Broke", "Paragraphs", "Ode To Guiness", "Same Ol Same", "Clash Of The Titans" and more. Released regionally, it sold out of stores in the Detroit area and was called the top selling independent album of '99-'00 by Real Detroit Magazine. Paradime also won two Detroit Music Awards at the 2001 DMA's for "Best Hip Hop artist/Group" and "Outstanding emcee," was voted Real Detroit Magazine's "Hip Hop artist of the Year" in '00, '01, '02, and graced the covers of The Metro Times, The Detroit Free Press, and The Detroit News. He returned to the 2002 Detroit Music awards to sweep his category with three DMA's including best album for Vices, and he preformed with other up and comers Obie Trice and Royce the 5'9". His writing and performing skills were showcased on Uncle Kracker's multi-platinum Doublewide, where he co-wrote two songs, as well as performed on the track "Heaven" with Kracker and Kid Rock; and Dime co-wrote three songs for the already multi-platinum Kid Rock album Cocky and is presently collaborating with Kid Rock for Rock's next effort.
Paradime's second release, "Vices" is already receiving critical acclaim, and much deserved attention from the music world. A view in to Dime's twisted world is both funny and depressing; a real journey in to the mind of this bar brawling stage king.
His latest, "11 Steps Down" is massive it features Kid Rock, Guilty Simpson, D12, Tash of The Alkaholiks and more. Pick it up!
The only real way to form the proper opinion on Dime is to catch him live. One of the only hip hop artists to play with a live band, but not switch to the rock/rap that has so saturated our culture. His shows are electric, foul, and hilarious all at once. A trip that no one soon forgets. This man is what they've been waiting for...the real deal.
