The group ALUMNI has entered the fray in Dallas, Texas after merging with the MERCENAREIZ to take out their adversaries with a hustling attitude, strong flows, and hard-core beats. The group is made up of Shaheed The Chemist, The Deadliest lyricist C-Nut, Kod-K The Hustler, and The Minister of Defense Wam. Together they make up a team that has been compared to Public Enemy , in both past and recent times. Like a Pro Bowl team you can't stop them, you can only hope to contain them.
Their latest album, Here We Come (HWC), is laced with a house party vibe reflecting the influences of JayZ, 50cent, and 2Pac. The Alumni's positive politics and "party starting" anthems draw a multi-cultural audience that always gets involved in the live shows through chants and dance moves.
