Gateway Records Inc. was founded 6-6-01. The owners of The Fly Zone and C & D Productions merged their studios together to make a complete audio and visual effects studio. The first of it's kind in Richmond, VA.

This unity opened up the gateway to several recording artist in the area. No longer are we subject to major labels, or major label budgets. We are solely independent. All we need is a major distribution deal and the world will finally hear our voices.

About The Owners

The owners of Gateway Record Inc. give a unique edge to any artist trying to get signed. Jason Brown, the owner of The Fly Zone and Hot Ebony Pics, is a computer programmer and graphics freak. He has been nominated the best graphics artist on the east coast several times. He has also gained the respect and admiration of The Richmond Metropolitan Business League, for being one of the first Black web site designers in Richmond, VA. This visionary genius came up with the concept of a web based records label that is both legal and workable. Protecting the rights of the artist recordings while giving customers quality entertainment, that would otherwise go unheard. Jermal Randolph (Mo - Mo), the owner of C & D production, agreed with the concept and was willing to work towards getting his artists off the ground. Every piece of equipment they had between them was put together. They soon realized there was nothing left for either of them to buy, within this union. It was a complete recording and graphics studio, using the latest in technology. They are now able to record, mix down, and edit musical tracks, master CDs, take digital images, make covers for the CDs, and shoot and record a professional quality music video, all with special effects, all in one location. At this point, overhead is only what you make it. Giving true meaning to Gateway Records Inc. to some artists. Now everything can be done with very little overhead, making musical outlets tangible for the poorest of recording artists.
