In 1998, a record label named South Lab Records was formed. The Mobilation was the first creation of the new label and the first independent rap record to reach the public through retail in Mobile, Alabama and the surrounding Gulf Coast area. And it conquered the local market! Now we're back----with the even better, hotter MOBILATION II !!! This 20 track album features numerous local artists and some out-of-town guests including Pizon, Sonny Sommers, Sicc, Lil' Jon, and the Eastside boys, D.J. Storm, Jane Flame, Mo', Hex, The Duke, Lil' Loot, Big D, C-Nile, B-Mac, Hittman, and D.J. Bucket.
Debuting on this album, Sicc says this CD is "Playerism meets the streets".
"The CD is a combination of every coast" says Pizon.
Sonny Sommers speaks from the heart with his moving lyrics.
The musical diversity brought out by the individual artists with their varied character traits gives this album its many flavors.
